This sporting life

It was one of those weekends - Six Nations and FA Cup games all over British televisions screens and blue skies to go with it.

And The Nutley felt the full force of its own sporting agenda. A pub session on Saturday ended with Italy's superb effort against Wales before reminiscing with one of my favourite bands, the Inspiral Carpets, in Shepherd's Bush. The following day, your blogger finished hoarse after an epic Cup clash at Stamford Bridge against Spurs.

The weekend finished with the usually unremarkable live coverage of a World Cup opening ceremony. I didn't last the speeches but by all accounts it was an entertaining affair, although you expect nothing less in Jamaica.
