Could this be the best Opening Ceremony yet?

32 years on from the inaugural World Cup (where pre-tournament celebrations probably consisted of turning up the night before the opening game for a Lord's dinner), one of the world's biggest rock bands could making a surprise entrance in Montego Bay.

According to Ireland's Sunday Tribune, Chris Blackwell, the owner of U2's record company, the iconic Island Records, has been trusted with finding a top act for the 11 March date.
