Wrong kind of beam-er

Okay, it may not have been a World Cup semi-final but heartache hit Harrow in a crunch derby against neighbouring Brent this week.

Fighting for a place in the Under-13 indoor finals of the London Youth Games, Harrow were playing at home when its own Leisure Centre beam "stopped a certain six in mid-flight", as the ball rebound and dropped straight into the hands of the opposition fielder.

The final was Harrow 97 (a six needed) Brent 103.
